About HSC
The Health Sciences Consortium (HSC) is a nonprofit publishing
cooperative founded in 1971 and dedicated to sharing
instructional materials in the health sciences. The Consortium
has grown from twelve founding members to
nearly 400 institutions representing more than 1,000 schools, hospitals, and other institutions around the world.
Anyone can purchase from the
Consortiums library of
over 700 videotape and computer-based instructional programs.
Institutions that become
members receive a 25% discount on every purchase. Membership is
usually initiated by health sciences-related faculty or
administrators, librarians or learning resource center directors,
staff development coordinators, curriculum coordinators, etc.
Only one membership per institution is required for all schools
and affiliated teaching hospitals to purchase at the discount.
